2026 Monash Day of Woodwind

  • The Sir Zelman Cowen School of Music and Performance 55 Scenic Boulevard Northbridge, NSW, 2063 Australia (map)

Join Monash University for a day of wind playing and teacher professional development! The Sir Zelman Cowen School of Music and Performance warmly invites high school students, tertiary wind players and wind enthusiasts of all ages and levels to participate in a day of collaboration, conversation and masterclasses with a great line-up of inspiring artists.

There will be workshop activities for bassoon, clarinet, flute, oboe, saxophone and recorder to help you develop new techniques, practise strategies and enhanced interpretations to prepare you for performance success! Music educators can connect with like-minded colleagues, while students benefit from feedback on VCE and AMEB repertoire, ensemble playing skills and insights from top performers and teachers.

Flutes & Flutists and Notus Winds are excited to partner with Monash by providing our full range of instruments for organisers and participants to try! If you're interested in trying our instruments but can't attend the full Woodwind Day, we'd still love to see you - contact us directly to register your interest.
